I have CastleOS setup to turn on several lights around dusk. These are a mix of Insteon and Cree Connected (via Hue hub).
When I first checked about an hour later, they all show up in the portal as being "on", and indeed they are all on.
Over the next couple of hours, I have had different lights that I turned on/off,
I checked the portal again and the only lights now showing as "on" are the Cree Connected.
None of the Insteon lights are showing "on", yet all the Insteon lights are still on and none of these were ever turned off.
Of the these Insteon lights that are not being reported as "on", I checked the logs and none are ever reported as being turned off.
Have had this happen a couple of nights in a row.

Thanks for the report Tommy! That beta has some incomplete code for our new live-updating feature (not need to refresh!). It might just be setting the wrong value. Stay tuned tomorrow for the next beta where this will be complete!

(Also, there was an update published early today that you can update to if you haven't already.)

Beta 1.3.3079 has this problem as well. Any clues? I did try the REST API to get device status, and it also does not have any of the insteon devices reporting as "on" even though they are.

Hey Tommy, just posted an update that fixed an issue tracking INSTEON device statuses with 3079. Should be all set now.

Hi Chris, I installed 1.3.3081 and tried it out tonight. It still has this same problem.

Can you describe the problem again? INSTEON device status is getting tracked in our tests?

Sure.....Insteon lights are turned on and Cree/Hue lights are turned on and are logged in CastleOS as "100" and show in the GUI as "ON". After some period of time, looks like about an hour, the Insteon lights are still on, but the GUI shows them all as "OFF". I check the logs and none of these lights were ever logged as "0". The Cree/Hue based lights are always showing "ON" correctly. There are several other things going on in between. I will send you the log.

And after that hour or so period, the REST API also returns the wrong status?

Correct. The API is returning only the Cree/Hue lights are on.

Which insteon gateway are you using? USB PLM? 2245?

Since the REST API is also incorrect, it's not a GUI thing. Somehow their status is being changed or reset.

I just posted another update. The previous one I had you test had an issue that may or may not have prevented the fix I tried to implement from working as expected. Please give this one a try and let me know if there is any difference...

Not sure if it's related, (with the latest beta) but I just saw my system not complete an event for sunset lights on. Statuses in the portal's actives and favorites tab showing the event happened, but lights disagree. I make an incremental adjustment to the dim level and it comes on.

1.3.3085 same problem. Again, it initially has the Insteon lights that are indeed on showing as "ON" and after around 40-45 minutes it then shows the Insteon lights are OFF even though nothing happened to the lights (they are still on) and the even the log itself show no change in state since initially logged as ON (i.e. no log entry showing lights went OFF). Config.xml file also has problem where current state for most devices is 0 always and last date change is 10/10/2016 or so.

Any chance you have your system set to hourly service restarts or something similar?

I don't know about anything like that. I have not had any need to.

No problem, just checking. Let me think about this, I'm not sure what the cause could be. It's not behaving like that on our test systems, nor has anyone else reported it. I find it out the configuration.xml file isn't updating at all though, nothing in the error log right?
