That was gated by the new API we just release this past week. Expect that within a month or so. It's important to note that only Samsung watches running Android Wear will be supported (at least for now).

Totally different SDK and a much smaller market share. We'll monitor customer requests for it and adjust accordingly...

Any update on this? Just switched from WinPhone to Android and picked up a Samsung Watch.

Right now there isn't really much demand for that, and I'm not sure if Samsung will continue with that OS, or go back to Android Wear only. Once demand for it ticks up we'll prioritize it. Thanks!!

Crap. With my luck I just guaranteed that Samsung will kill Samsung Gear. By the time I get fully up to speed with my Android switch over, that will be the time that Android starts to announce they are pulling the plug on the OS. *shrug*

I actually like some of what Gear can do that Wear cannot. But once Wear can, does Gear continue? Aghhhhh....
