I have a motion sensor which was linked with CastleOS. It wasn't updating its stautus.

I had an event which it was supposed to activate on. I unlinked the motion sensor, and then re-linked it. Now it was assigned sensor31.

I then attempted to edit the event. Now that I had unlinked the old device, I get an error when editing the event. As expected. I created a new event under the new Sensor31.

I deleted the old event. No problem.

However, now I can't edit the event under the new sensor31. Whenever I attempt to edit the event, I get an error. I can edit other events, but not this one with the linked/unlinked/linked device. The event still gets triggered when motion is detected, but I can't change what it does.

Can you send me your configuration.xml file and I'll attempt to recreate the error. Thanks!

Which event is that? Is it upon clicking "edit event", or "save event" after editing it?

I can't remember what the event was called now, I deleted it as I couldn't access it. It was as soon as I clicked "edit event". It wouldn't allow me to edit the event at all, so didn't even get to see the save event button.

When I loaded your configuration.xml file, I was able to click edit event and open each event. Maybe it's something that is fixed internally?

Actually I still have the event, and it's still broken.

The event is called Nightlight. It's a device triggered event with the following conditions

and device Living Room - TV bloom is off
and is night

As soon as I click edit, the error comes up

Hey Chris

Any update on this?

I now have a lot of events (some that are still working, and devices still linked with castleos) that I can't edit at all

Alright, finally got a handle on this. I thought this was fixed, because it was and checked in on the 30th, and when I tested your config file, it worked just fine. But then I tested it with deployed code, and was able to replicate your issues. Which confused me. Now I finally traced this back, and it was due to a Visual Studio publishing bug! The fixed code was never published, so it never got deployed to you guys. I had to run a manual clean and then republish, and voila, the proper code is output. Ugh. Sorry about that. I'll be posting the updated installer to the beta folder tonight after I wrap out up a couple other things.

Thanks,
Chris
