Unboxing CastleHUB

Assistive Tech Dad Posts: 114 12/12/2015	Assistive Tech Dad Posts: 114 Chris, I am finally getting around to unboxing my CastleHUB and setting it up (wanting to automate my Christmas lights, I feel like a Neanderthal walking around the house turning them all on manually). I may have misunderstood, but I thought the Kickstarter level I funded included the CastleHUB and a USB adapter for Z-Wave. That apparently was not included in what I received. Did I misunderstand, or was something missing form my shipment? Thanks. AT Dad P.S. Hoping to include my experiences, and projects in step-by-step posts on my blog soon.

videobear Posts: 57 12/13/2015	videobear Posts: 57 Nope. The HUB has "support" for Z-wave, but no radio is included. I'm using an Aeotec Z-stick Gen 5, plugged into the USB port.

Please let me know if I misunderstood this, as I would need to get a Z-Wave stick ASAP. Thank you. GET ONE + DONATE ONE: Get a CastleHUB for yourself at the same time you donate a HUB on behalf of a disabled person. Many of America's disabled, including veterans, are on a fixed income and cannot afford this technology on their own. We can help! Includes a CastleHUB and a USB adapter for Z-Wave.

I didn't realize you were part of the Kickstarter program. I wasn't, and just got an introductory price for my HUB. Ignore my earlier comment.
