Hey Rod! WeMo is currently supported in CastleOS. WeMo devices should be auto-detected and placed in a WeMo Devices group in the Devices screen. Is nothing there?
Thanks, Chris

I have multiple Wemo's and they all work. So I can attest to this.

Thanks Dominique and Chris for such quick responses...Strange - nothing showing up for me...I can see them on my WeMo app, but not in CastleOS...All are connected to the same network as I am...any other suggestions...

Hey Rod, is UPnP enabled in your router? If it's disabled it won't allow the autodiscovery to work...
Thanks, Chris

Hi, I have two Wemo Insight Switches. They show up in CastleOS as devices but I do not get any info from them. Example, not record of how much energy has been used. I can turn them on and off using kinect but not individually, only by group. It may be I am not setting things up right.
I should also mention on the Portal view the devices do not appear. I only see them if I go into Menu>Devices. And like I said I can turn them on and off but only as a group, not individually.
Any suggestions? edited by aamjohns on 2/19/2015

I am also having issues using my WEMO switch and Light bulbs. The WEMO app recognizes them with no problem, but Castleos does not. I have verified UPnP is enabled yet am having no luck yet.

Hi Gerson, it sounds like you might have network isolation enabled in your router. What that means is wireless devices can only see wireless devices, hence the app working but not CastleOS. Can you confirm if this might be the case?
Thanks, Chris

I'm having the same problem, network isolation is not enabled, UPnP is enabled. The WEMO app sees them but CastleOS does not.

-Chris Hi Chris, Wireless. Does it need to be wired? Thanks, Meredith

I have the same issue.
I've recently bought Belkin's led bulbs and can only see them over Belkin's app.
I'm vice versa to Meredith - I'm on wired network, connected directly to wifi router with Upnp
I hope the long waited CastleOS Hub will solve most if not all (crossed fingers) issues... edited by adanchenko on 9/28/2015

My Wemo outlets are working without UPNP - Wemos are wireless and CastleOS is wired (same vlan / network). Did you try temporarily turning off windows firewall and any AV software? edited by Josh123 on 10/7/2015 edited by Josh123 on 10/7/2015

I can see them in my network and on my WeMo app. Not sure what else to try.

Hey Meredith, can you confirm you've tried it with your firewall(s) disabled? If it works with them off, then you'll have to create a rule to allow the network discovery (which we can help you figure out).
Thanks, Chris

Thanks, Chris Hi Chris, Yes, I tried it with the firewall disabled but it did not work. Do I need to enable something in CastleOs? I feel like I must have missed something simple since it works for everyone else. Thanks, Meredith

Unfortunately there's nothing to enable, it's just network broadcast to all WeMo devices basically saying "report yourselves". For some resason, the reply message isn't getting through to CastleOS.
Just out of curiosity, what WeMo devices are you trying?
