I've been using the echo since it came out. I works great with insteon. If CastleOS starts supporting Echo, I may have to fire up castleos again!

You can currently use both side by side without issue...

Any update on COS directly working with the Echo?

What about Google Home?

Any other cool similar devices viable as an option?

We're working on it, Echo still doesn't have a local smart home API and Google Home doesn't have one at all....

Any updates on this Chris?

Echo only works with post 2014 Instead Hubs, which is pretty much US only, most other countries are using the pre 2014 hubs, so we need a bridge for Echo to Insteon.

Cant be hard HCA have done it already.

Pinging this thread.

I would really like to have echo or the upcoming echo plus integrate into my Insteon system through the portable USB-stick PLM or the old (2242) hub without having to go to the cloud (except for Alexa's voice decoding).
