Hi Cooper! With the Kinect v1, you can install multiple Kinects to one computer, so long as you have a USB bus (not port) for each Kinect. For the Kinect v2, there is a restriction in the driver that only allows one Kinect per computer.

However, you can also add as many computers (mini or stick PCs) to the system as you'd like, thereby offering unlimited coverage.

Yes, they all talk over the network to the main CastleOS controller.

Also, when you refer to computer, are you referring to a Castle Hub or just a PC?

You only ever need one CastleHUB or CastleOS install on the network. The other computers running the Kinects will run a separate module of CastleOS, called the CastleOS Kinect Service.

Ok, thanks so much! Just to confirm, I would need to purchase a Castle Hub, a few of the Microsoft Kinnects, and how many versions of the Castle OS software and the mini PC's? Also, could you please provide a link to where I could purchase either the mini or Stick PC's?

Only one CastleHUB (which includes the software).

The stick and mini PCs you can get on Amazon, there are dozens of choices. Check out the Intel versions too. You'll want one that comes with Windows 10 preloaded, make sure to pick that because some come in "barebones" instead.

Ok, what do I use the PC sticks for? How do I connect the Kinnects to them?
